Horse Lake –
Place beyond time
where motion is measured
by sun traveling
through sky,
by water rippling
over rock,
ancient and scattered
everywhere.Time transcended by place
where beauty is defined
by forest teeming
with life
and death,
by moon shining
on lake,
calm and moving
nowhere.Horse Lake –
where time stands still,
where place blends naturally
with serenity.
